Two plans
There are two, and the plan belongs to the server rather than to you. Being on Premium in one server does not follow you into another.
Every server starts free, with no card. The free plan is a working assistant rather than a trial that expires: it chats, reads your channels and pins, opens the files you share, and answers as your server's own persona.
Premium is $6.99 a month for the server. It adds the more capable model, deeper reasoning, memory, images in both directions, web access, custom personas and connectors, and roughly thirty times the monthly usage.
When something is unavailable, Xertron says which plan it needs and what it would actually do, rather than telling you to upgrade for more features.

On Premium but off by default
Upgrading does not switch everything on. The two features that move a server's monthly limit fastest start off, so a new Premium server does not spend its month in the first week.
Turn these on deliberately
Web search and web fetch share one toggle, and image generation has its own. Both are on the dashboard's Overview screen. Until then Xertron genuinely does not have those tools, and it will say so rather than appear to refuse.

If a server goes back to free
Nothing is deleted. What a server built on Premium stays and keeps working, it just stops growing.
What keeps working
Reference files already uploaded are still searched and can still be removed. Memories already recorded are still read and can still be removed. Connectors already on a persona still run. Personas people wrote are still theirs on the hub.
What stops
No new uploads, no new memories, no new connectors, and no running a custom persona, so threads fall back to the server default with a note saying why. The Pro model, deeper thinking, images and web access go with the plan.
